Structures North provides structural engineering services for residential and commercial new construction, from project conception to completion. A combined depth of almost 50 years experience of the principals of Structures North in new construction provides for considerable intuition in proposing appropriate structural systems for new buildings. We employ state of the art structural engineering design software that allows for efficient design of new construction, whether steel, concrete, or masonry. We are able to rapidly assess multiple structural design systems for preliminary pricing in order to arrive at the most economical structure. Various lateral bracing systems can be assessed, and non-composite and composite steel and bar joist framing systems can be considered in the project design development phase. Structures North is adept at a variety of deep foundation systems, including driven and drilled piles, caissons, helical piers, and mini piles for sites with difficult soil conditions.
