Project Description:The Mo Vaughn Car Wash is the latest in a series of high-visibility car care centers that are designed to attract attention and to bring
customers in for service, as well as to serve multiple car-care functions. The
facility
features tall 12:12 gable roofs, a second floor office, a tower, a wash
tunnel, three custom detail bays, and three rapid lube bays. The high
visibility of this facility is created by steeply sloping roofs, tall
walls, towers, and signage.
Construction materials include the Canadian "Royal Building System"
(interior exposed PVC concrete forming system) walls, long span engineered
wood trusses, engineered wood floor, composite steel and concrete floor deck
in lube bays, and heavy steel transfer beams over detailing bays. Lube bays
feature Blazer 9000 lifts on the structural slab, which are capable of servicing
up to 4.5 ton SUV's.
