Project Description

Granary Burying Ground is one of the most important cemeteries in America, with such notables as John Hancock, Mother Goose, and the family of Benjamin Franklin interred there. Based upon a needs assessment conducted by Structures North during the previous year, 25 mound tombs, table tombs and monuments were restored, and 75 grave markers were re-set. The work also included the emergency stabilization of an un-mapped subsurface burial vault following a cave-in.
